ABOUT TOTTENHAM TENNIS CLUB

Our club is located in a beautiful park setting and offers 3 hard surface, outdoor, individually fenced tennis courts with lights for evening play. It is so wonderful to play here without the constant interruption of balls rolling onto your court!

Our Clubhouse is used during Club events and programs such as camps and lessons. It includes washrooms and a full kitchen.

We have a tennis professional who can provide lessons, coaching, racquet stringing and other services including racquet demos.

The courts and Clubhouse are owned by the Town of New Tecumseth. Access to the courts by the public is through membership in the Club.

The club is run entirely by volunteers and we would love your help and your ideas. Membership fees go towards maintaining the facilities.

Our History

In 1919, following World War I, the men of Tottenham and district decided it would be fitting to have a memorial park in Tottenham to honour the memory of the men who had paid the supreme sacrifice. A committee was formed and soon a very lovely park was built on six acres of land from John Lyons Farm. A central feature of the park was the Cenotaph along with a ballpark, tennis court and bowling green. We've been playing tennis here ever since!
